Chairman of the Dead

What is Chairman of the Dead?

Chairman of the Dead is a goofy cartoon zombie tap-shooter with a satirical twist. Deep in a marble mausoleum, Zombie Mao is stirring in his crystal coffin, and waves of shambling Red Guard zombies in blue caps and tunics, some waving little red books, are marching on the velvet rope. Tap them before they get through — every zombie that slips past pushes the resurrection meter higher. Grab firecrackers, freeze blasts and big splats, chain hits for combo multipliers, and every third wave face the Chairman himself as he rises for a boss fight. Keep him in his coffin! It is free to play online, right in your browser.

How to play Chairman of the Dead

• Tap or click zombies to bonk them before they reach the velvet rope. Dark-blue belted guard zombies take two hits.
• Every zombie that gets through raises the resurrection meter. At 100% Zombie Mao is back and the game ends.
• Every third wave Zombie Mao rises for a boss fight — tap him to drain his health bar before the meter fills.

Tips & tricks

• Always shoot the zombie closest to the velvet rope first — far-away zombies can wait.
• Dark-blue belted guard zombies need two hits, so start on them early.
• Don't tap empty floor: missing resets your combo multiplier.
• Save your focus for the boss: keep tapping Zombie Mao between minions, and watch out when he ducks into his coffin.
• Grab the green Lid Fix power-up when the resurrection meter is high — it knocks it down by 25%.
