What is Cell Conquest?

Cell Conquest is a quick real-time strategy game. The map is covered with living cells. Blue ones are yours, grey ones are neutral and the other colours belong to rival colonies run by the computer. Every owned cell slowly grows troops, and bigger cells grow faster. Drag from your cell to any other cell to send half its troops there. If more of your troops arrive than are defending, the cell becomes yours. Capture everything to win the map. More rivals and bigger maps arrive as you level up. It is free to play online, right in your browser.

How to play Cell Conquest

• Drag from a blue cell to another cell to send half of its troops.
• Drag across several blue cells first to attack with all of them at once.
• Take every rival cell to win the level. Lose all your cells and it's game over.

Controls (desktop & mobile)

• Drag — Send troops
• Tap, then tap — Send from a selected cell
• M — Mute

On mobile, drag from one of your blue cells to the cell you want to attack. Sliding over several blue cells first sends troops from all of them. On desktop, do the same with the mouse.

Tips & tricks

• Grab grey neutral cells first. They don't fight back or grow.
• Bigger cells grow troops faster, so capture them early.
• Gang up with several cells to break a strong rival in one wave.
• Send reinforcements to cells next to a rival before it attacks.

Yes. Cell Conquest is completely free on YayBop. It runs in your web browser with no download, no app install and no sign-up.

Can I play Cell Conquest on my phone?

Yes. It works on phones and tablets as well as desktop computers. On mobile, drag from one of your blue cells to the cell you want to attack.

How many troops are sent?

Half of the troops in each cell you send from.

How does a capture work?

Each arriving troop removes one defender. When the defenders drop below zero, the cell switches to your colour.

How is my score calculated?

You get 10 points for every capture plus a bonus for each map you win. Faster wins earn more.
