What is Void Muncher?

Void Muncher is a timed swallow-and-grow arcade game. You control a small black hole loose in a busy toy city. Slide under anything smaller than you, like traffic cones, hydrants, people and benches, and watch it tumble in. Every bite makes you a little wider, so soon you can gulp down trees, cars, buses, houses and finally whole towers. You have 90 seconds to eat as much as you can. Points depend on the size of what you swallow, so plan a route that keeps you growing. It is free to play online, right in your browser.

How to play Void Muncher

• Drag anywhere on the screen to steer the black hole.
• Pass over objects smaller than you to swallow them. Bigger objects just wobble until you grow.
• Bigger objects are worth more points. Eat as much as you can in 90 seconds.

On mobile, put your finger anywhere and drag in the direction you want to go. The black hole follows like a joystick. On desktop, use the arrow keys or WASD.

Tips & tricks

• Clear small things quickly at the start, because early growth matters most.
• Watch the Next bar at the bottom. It shows how close you are to the next object size.
• Roads are full of cones and cars, so a lap of the streets is a quick snack.
• Save towers for the last 20 seconds, when you're big enough to eat them.

Why can't I swallow some objects?

You can only swallow things smaller than your hole. Objects that are too big wobble when you touch them.
